Solana's webpages were previously generated using hardcoded static content, including locale-specific variations, which limited their flexibility and scalability. To overcome these challenges, I collaborated with a team to create a highly modular and well-documented component library based on the atomic design system. This approach standardized reusable components, improving both the efficiency and scalability of the development process, which streamlined the implementation of new features.

Additionally, I streamlined the page creation process by transitioning from hardcoded solutions to integration with a headless CMS. This shift enabled web content creators to manage content dynamically, reducing development time and increasing flexibility. The new system empowered editors to easily create and update localized pages without requiring ongoing engineering support.

I worked with a team to migrate SevenRooms' WordPress-based site to a statically generated React site, adopting modern technologies to create a more efficient architecture. To support rapid page creation and management, we integrated Builder.io as the headless CMS. This provided greater flexibility and faster content updates. We utilized PandasCSS for consistent and scalable styling across the platform, ensuring a streamlined development process. To enhance maintainability, we documented the entire component library using Storybook, making it easier for the team to extend the site with reusable components.

I served as the development lead for the new iteration of MagMutual's authenticated Learning Center, overseeing all facets of dashboard development to deliver a seamless, scalable user experience.

The site utilized Next.js for its framework, with SWR managing server state and Zustand handling client state. I collaborated closely with MagMutual's backend team to design efficient REST APIs in Java, optimizing data flow and system performance. Through these efforts, I reduced client-side rendering (CSR) fetch request times from 12 seconds to 600 milliseconds, drastically increased the efficiency of Learning Center editors in creating gated entries, and eliminated all propagation delays between the Learning Management System, Salesforce, and the dashboard, ensuring real-time data synchronization.
